The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our fifth members only tournament of the year last Saturday June 10th on Lake Bridgeport. Summer heat found us but luckily there was enough wind to help but not so much it was dangerous. 26 boats made the trek out west to fish and the fishing was tough for most especially for fish of any size. Only 7 limits were brought to the scales. When it was all over, the team of Warren Whitaker and Clark Crenshaw came out on top with a good limit that weighed 15.95 pounds. They also had big bass of the tournament, a 7.52 toad.
Thanks to Chris Atkinson for working livewell checks at 0 Dark 30 and Eugene McBride, Tyler Austin and Chris again for doing weigh in on a hot day. Next up we stay close to home and fish Ray Hubbard on Saturday July 8th. Hope to see you there!
