The Ray Hubbard Bass Club had our first members only tournament of 2021 last Saturday March 13th on Cedar Creek. Considering a few weeks ago we had lakes frozen over, the fishing has rebounded quickly. Reports of spawning fish were plentiful but they were finicky. There were no giants caught which was a little strange for March. 26 boats came out to fish with us and everyone was in shorts by the end of the day. When the weigh in was done, the team of Tommy Climer and Ronnie Manning came out on top with a great bag of 18.68 pounds. Paul Spann and Bill Gammons narrowly won big bass with a 4.24 big girl.
