The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our fourth members only tournament of 2023 on Saturday May 13th. We went to Eagle Mountain Lake for the first time in our history. The weather prognosticators predicted rain of epic proportions mixed with thunderstorms and that was a big contributor to our turnout only being 19 boats. Of course we never heard thunder and never saw a drop of rain so it ended up being a perfect day to fish. Fishing was pretty tough on our group with only five limits brought to the scales. At the end of the day, Pete Brandt fishing with guest Josh Fulton came out on top with a good bag of 20.64. Their kicker fish weighed 5.77. Big bass of the tournament was the 5.96 brought to the scales by David Choate and Danny Ferrell.
