The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our sixth members only tournament of 2023 last Saturday July 8th on Lake Ray Hubbard. We got a pretty good break in the weather at least until noon with cloudy skies, some wind and even a little rain keeping the heat back. 33 boats came out to fish on our home water. Fishing was pretty good as 16 limits were brought to the scales. When it was over, the team of Keith Taylor and Chadd Dearen took home the win with a nice bag weighing 17.97. Big bass of the tournament went to Tony Bryant and Brig Norwood with a 7.60 toad.

Our next tournament is Saturday August 12th on Lake Tawakoni. We’ll fish summer hours of 6-2 and run things out of Sky Point RV Park ramp. Hope to see you there!
