Congrats to Jason Hunnicutt and Travis Reaves on the win with a 19 lb bag. That follows up a very strong second at Ray Roberts where they had over 25 lbs. Nice job guys! Tommy and Tony Climer finished 2nd with 18.28 lbs. Tommy said he found 3 really good fish late in the tournament all on beds they just ran out of time. Jay Messersmith and Tony Schnurr finished 3rd with 17.90. Tony said he caught his fish on a shaky head flipped to the very back of docks. Tony is following up cashing a check at Roberts where he also had big bass. That should all come to an end next month when we fish Lavon! Randy Johnson and David Kirk finished 4th with a nice 16.20 sack; anchored by a 5.15 big bass. Preston Smith and David Horton finished 5th with 15 and some change. They are consistently in or around the money. Brandon Putnam and Joey Deans finished 6th with a mid 14 lb stringer. Brandon wins 6th place money and the award for having the shiniest truck! Nice job guys and good to see Joey back in the boat with Brandon. We had 27 boats come out and it sounded like everyone caught good #’s of fish but finding the right bites was key.
