The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our second tournament of the year Saturday March 8th on Lake Bob Sandlin. 34 boats drove the 2 hours out to Sandlin to fish with us setting a new record for participation at a Club only tournament! Fishing remained tough for the most part, but not Winnsboro tough, and several teams caught em and some big girls were brought to the scales. George Dorman & James Henderson landed 21.02 lbs and bested a field of 34 boats to bring home the top prize. Ronnie Manning & Dean Stroman were a close 2nd with 20.51 lbs. With water temps at 49 and a front pushing through, Bob Sandlin proved itself challenging and yielded only 4 limits. However, two fish over 9 lbs were brought to the scales; Dale Rettman netted at 9.75 hog and George Dorman landed a 9.25 lb fat girl.
