On a beautiful spring day in North Texas, Dennis & Damon Machost bested a field of 30 boats with a five fish sack weighing 17.11. Big bass of the day also went to Damon & Dennis with a nice 5.17 fat girl. Russell Olds and Matt Jackson had a 15.99 sack for 2nd place; while Jack and Fly Scheel finished 3rd with a nice 15.69 lb sack. The general consensus was that fishing was best during the morning but once the wind picked up near noon the fishing got much tougher. Congratulations to all of the winners and to everyone who made the trip.
