The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our ninth and last members only tournament of 2022 on Saturday October 8th on Lake Texoma. The fishing was in a word, lousy. Bites were hard to come by, and keeper bites even harder. Unfortunately we took a bit to figure that out because we let our winning team and our big bass get away with no pictures because they weighed early and they didn’t think there was anything special about their bags. I will post the pictures we did get and let you know that winning Texoma with the only five fish limit of the 23 teams competing were Bruce and John Anderson with a bag that weighed 11.52 pounds. Big bass went to the team of Tony Bryant and Brig Norwood with a 4.33 largemouth.

That’s a wrap for the regular season. Thanks to Ronnie and Capp for doing registration. Thanks to David Choate, Chris Atkinson, Tyler Austin and anyone else who helped with weigh in! Next up of course is our biggest event of the year! The Seventh Annual Fish For A Cure tournament. Sunday October 30th on Lake Ray Hubbard going out of Chandlers Landing. All proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society. Please come out and join us to fish, attend weigh in and help us raise money for a great cause! See you there!
