The Ray Hubbard Bass Club concluded our season with a 2 day Championship tournament on Lake Texoma. A record number of people qualified so we had our biggest field ever for our Championship. 23 boats came out to fish with us. Lots of small fish were biting but keepers were harder to come by. When all was said and done the DFW powerhouse team of Tommy and Tony Climer came out on top with a two day total of 26.25 pounds.
That’s a wrap on a very successful 2015 for the Ray Hubbard Bass Club! We finished the year with a new record for members at 125 and also tournament participation. We had 31 boats or more at all but two regular season tournaments this year. What I am most proud of is that despite being a large Club, this is about the friendliest group of people you could ever be around, We have a great time together and it shows. If you want to join a great Club next year, come out to our meeting in January of 2016 and get signed up. Our schedule for 2016 will be out soon. See you next year!
