Saturday, May 14th, 2016 – Lake Bonham
The Ray Hubbard Bass Club had our fourth members only tournament of 2016 on Saturday May 14th at Lake Bonham. Continuing our trend we had another great turnout of 33 boats which is a bunch for a lake the size of Bonham. The day was cloudy cool and windy. Fishing was pretty good overall with the bass anywhere from the spawn to moving to their off shore summer spots and water temps in the mid 70’s. Nine limits were weighed in. When the dust cleared, Ronnie Manning and Capp Peace won the day with a five fish limit weighing 16.95. Reigning AOY’s Jason Hunnicutt and Travis Reaves weighed in the days biggest bass with a 7.69 beast. Our apologies with the small number of pictures this month but our resident photographers the Scheels were painting cars instead of fishing (crappy hail) so it took a while to find a substitute.
