Saturday, March 11th, 2017 – Lake Cypress Springs
The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our second tournament of the year on Saturday March 11 at Cypress Springs lake. A full moon in March should have made it a sight fishing event, but cloudy and windy conditions and stained water made seeing beds tough. We smashed the Club record for participation. A ridiculous 53 boats came out to fish one of our favorite lakes. Lots of 5 fish limits were weighed in but bigger fish were tough to find. The team of Garrett Macias and Bobby Finta found them weighing in exactly 20 pounds and big bass of the event at 6.55 and winning going away. Here are full results and pictures.
