Ray Hubbard Bass Club - Lake Tawakoni
Ramp: TBD
Saturday June 09, 2012
Time: TBD

Lake Tawakoni - Old lake but very popular with the tournament crowd. This lake may surprise you with the size and numbes of bass that may be available. Flooded timber, although not abundant, is found in scattered areas throughout Lake Tawakoni. Docks abound but many are shallow. Aquatic vegetation is sparse and tends to decrease following lake draw-downs. As water levels increase, emergent aquatic plants such as smartweed establish dense areas of cover. The habitat on Lake Tawakoni is limited, so any available cover tends to attract and hold largemouth bass.

Bass are currently managed with statewide regulations. 5 fish, 14 inch minimum length limit.
